put z = 5 - (x+y)
we get
xy +5x + 5y - 2xy = 3 + x2 +y2.
 let us use it as a quad in y.
:. max value of y = -(x-5)/2.                                         [max value at (-)b/2a]
putting it in above eqn we get 3x2 - 10x- 13 =0
:. x = 13/3.
as it is symmetric funcn :. this value can be taken
 by any one of x,y or z at a time.
