Eligibility
Following is the eligibility criteria for applying for admission in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade:
• No age limit
• Recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years' duration in any discipline
• Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by pre-specified date

Selection Criteria
Candidates are selected on the basis of Written Test, Essay-Writing, Group Discussion, and Interview which will be held on fourth Sunday of November every year and are carried out at the following centers:

Further based on the marks obtained in the written test, candidates are called for essay writing, group discussion and interview to be held in January/February at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. Also students are provided admission on the basis of their score in General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).

• Advertisement for applications and availability of brochures and forms start from the second week of July and the forms are available on the official website of IIFT.
• Last date of receipt of application will be around first week of September
• Written examination will be held fourth Sunday of November from 10.00am -12.00 noon

Facilities / Infrastructure
The institute campus have the facilities of air-conditioned lecture halls with modern audio-visual aids, conference halls for round-table conferences, an auditorium of 500 seating capacity, MDP Centre, three Computer Centers, indoor games, and excellent residential facilities for students. There are different wings for girls and boys hostels.
Additionally, the institute offers a myriad of qualitative books that fill the senses of readers with joy and thought of learning something new and unique. IIFT has three modern Computer Centers with a Local Area Network comprising IBM Blade Centre, SUN on Clustered Environment, HP Servers and 300 Pentium IV nodes with wired & wireless access to the network available in the campus.
