It's tricky,could you find out what is wrong in this---- 1=1 12=1*1 12-12=1*1-12 (1+1)(1-1)=1(1-1) 1+1=1 i.e.2=1
|

I dont think there is anything tricky here.U r cancelling zero which is not possible.(u r cancelling (1-1))

let x=y 2x-x = 2y-y 2(x-y) = x-y divide on both sides by x-y hence 1 =2
|
got 111 marks in JEE 2010

Here again,x=y i.e.x-y=0 and you are cancelling 0 from both sides.
