Applications have been invited by School of Management, West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata for admission to MBA/MMA/MHA/PG Diploma programmes of academic year 2012-13 through Joint Entrance for Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT-2012) to be conducted on 11th March, 2012, Sunday
Eligibility Criteria: The minimum qualification for admission to MBA/MMA/MHA/AICTE approved PG diploma programmes is a bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology /Medical /Dental/ Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities
The candidates who will appear in final examination (graduation) to be held in 2012 and results published by September, 2012 may also apply
Completed application forms are to be submitted to School of Management, West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata-700064
Written examination fees are Rs 800/- for general category and Rs 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates (without late fine) while the corresponding fees are Rs 1000/- and Rs 500/- respectively (with late fine)
The fees are to be paid in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata
Attested copies of marksheets, certificates and other testimonials as well as SC/ST/OBC certificates should be submitted with the application form
Examination centres: Kolkata (N), Kolkata (S), Kharagpur, Durgapur, Berhampore, Siliguri, Howrah, Kalyani, Hooghly, Salt Lake
Test structure: The JEMAT written test will be of objective type consisting of three sections of 2 hours duration (11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m for JEMAT) as; section-I English 40 marks; section-II Mathematics 40 marks; section-III logical reasoning/GK 20 marks
The written examination (comprehensive presentation/interface), GD/PI and centralized counseling will all be conducted by WBUT
