Applications are invited from the wards of J & K migrants as per the provisions of the Government of Gujarat, Education Department Notification No. GH/SH/13/2009/MBA/102008/ 633/S dtd. 29/05/2009 for admission to MBA/MCA courses after Graduation in 10 + 2 + 3 / 10 + 2 + 4 pattern in Govt./ Grant-in-aid/Self-financed institutes.
Application forms and other details are available on website: www.gtu.ac.in. Eligibility Criteria Eligibility for admission of MBA/MCA shall be as per above mentioned Notifications.
Students applying under this category for admissions to the first year MBA/MCA are exempted from GCET-09.
Eligible and interested candidates should apply in the prescribed application form available on the website along with relevant documents and a demand draft for Rs.500/- for MBA/MCA courses in favor of “Gujarat Technological University” payable at Ahmedabad so as to reach the Committee between 22/09/2009 to 24/09/2009 (11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) in person or by registered post only.
It is mandatory to produce the Migration Certificate issued from the competent authority along with application, which may be noted. Applications received after the time limit will not be entertained.
Merit list of all eligible candidates shall be placed on the website on 29/09/2009 (Tuesday) at 03.30 p.m.
Counseling program will be held on 30/09/2009 (Wednesday) from 11.00 a.m. at Gujarat Technological University. No individual call letter will be issued. Candidates, whose names appeared in the merit list, shall remain present with all original documents & necessary part fees (Rs.1500/- for Govt. & Grant-in-aid institutes & Rs.20,000/- for self-finance institutes) at their own cost.
